Last Thursday evening, the campus experienced an unscheduled network outage. DoIT has been working very closely with the campus' network vendor to determine both the cause and a remedy. In an effort to mitigate the risk of future network outages related to this issue, we will be performing emergency maintenance this Thursday, February 28th. There will be an outage on both the wired and wireless academic networks starting at 4am, lasting for approximately 45 minutes. During this time we will be installing essential code updates and over the next several weeks we may need to take further action to remediate the problem. This scheduled maintenance affected: Network, Phones and TV (WolfieNet (Wi-Fi), Eduroam (Wi-Fi), Wired, Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Virtual Private Network (VPN), Telephone Systems).
